Obituary for Christopher Clement

Christopher  Clement
Christopher Clement 49, of Portsmouth RI, died suddenly on June 5th, 2018. He is survived by his son Cody Sylvia of Dartmouth. One brother Phillip Clement and his grandson Chase Goodwin. He is also survived by Allison Manuel of Middletown and thier children, Dylan Clement of Middletown, Todd Phipps of Tiverton, Amelia Clement of Middletown, Chloe Phipps of Portsmouth, Taylor Cory of Middletown. Chris is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins by whom he will be sorely missed.

Chris was a commercial fisherman and lobsterman on the Nathaniel Lee, Sakonnet Lobster and Kismet. He was born in Fall River, Mass on May 2, 1969 but moved to Island Park at an early age and became a lifelong Portsmouth resident who loved recreational clamming at ‘the pits’ in Island Park with his children, and riding dirt bikes. He was a true man of the sea. He loved playing ice hockey in the winter, it was his favorite sport. He was a graduate of New England Tech in auto mechanics and he loved tinkering on boats and outboards. He was always seen wearing his trusty jean jacket.

Chris will be joining his beloved parents Maureen and Phillip Clement Sr., in eternal rest.
