Robert Samuel DeShaies, 86, formerly of Providence passed away peacefully on November 28th, 2018 in Beaufort, South Carolina surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Edgar and Ida (Bellini) DeShaies. Robert is survived by his loving wife Maria Breggia and his devoted children, five sons, Robert Gudreau, Edgar Deshaies, Rory DeShaies, James DeShaies , Anthony DeShaies, and his three daughters, Denise Spaziano, Renee (DeShaies) Authier and Roberta (DeShaies) Denton. Robert was predeceased by his son Robert DeShaies Jr., He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends by whom he'll be sorely missed.

Robert was retired and loved spending his spare time helping others and reading the Bible in morning Christian Bible readings, in addition he liked playing his online Poker games and simply enjoying his retirement.

Funeral services for Robert, to which friends and family are invited to attend will be held Friday morning in the Berarducci Funeral Home, 26 Grove St., Prov., at 10 am followed by a graveside service in North Burial Ground Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 4-7pm.
