Obituary for Adam J. Cyckevic

Adam J. Cyckevic, 66, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving and devoted children, following a long struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was the example of strength and bravery. Born in Pawtucket to Lilian (Naylor) Cyckevic of Florida and the late Adam Cyckevic Sr., on July 13th, 1954. He was a loving and dedicated dad and is survived by his children Jennifer Cyckevic, Jessica Cyckevic and Joshua Cyckevic all, of West Warwick. Adam is also survived by two brothers, Edward Cyckevic of Florida and Ronald Cyckevic of Warwick along with many friends and relatives. Adam was pre-deceased by his loving and beautiful wife Christine Cyckevic in 2018.

Adam was born and raised in Rhode Island, educated in RI public schools, married the love of his life, Christine, and together they raised their family here in the Ocean State. He was a devoted husband, a loving, caring, and dedicated father.

An Auto Mechanic by trade and the consummate “Mr. Fixit”, he was always fixing something for someone. He was a quiet man who’s hands were always busy and when he wasn’t fixing something, he loved being with his family and simply “goofing around” with his kids or just staying home to watch a good Western. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed camping and fishing at Burlingame Park.

He was our strength and our light, our dad who always fixed everything for everyone, and although he is now gone, he will NEVER be forgotten! May you rest in eternal peace, Dad.

The care and arrangements for Adam have been entrusted to the Berarducci Funeral Home, Providence. Services for Adam will be private.
