Obituary for April Drosos (Swindle)

April Drosos (Swindle), 49, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully, at home, on Sunday, March 29th, 2020. She was a daughter of Kenneth and Janey Swindle. April also leaves behind her beloved spouse of over 25 years, Anthony Drosos, their daughter Yvonne and their grandchildren by whom she will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

In addition to being a beautiful person with a kind and generous heart, April was a highly educated, intelligent, hard-working, multi-tasking, consummate and dynamic professional in multiple industries throughout her eighteen-year impressive career. The foregoing is clearly evident in her myriad accomplishments, commendations and awards she received, too numerous to mention here. Suffice it to stat that as she embraced new challenges and acquired new skills and increased responsibilities, she continued to excel and succeed like a dynamo in an always upward direction.

Highlights from her phenomenal resume include positions of significant global leadership and responsibilities, such as at Johnson Controls, Nissan and Chrysler Corporations, Quantum Financial, Flash Global Logistics, Coca-Cola Bottling Company and most notably Bavarian Motor Works (BMW) of North America

A lifelong learner, April was extremely well read and a proud alumna of George Washington University (M.S.P.M.), California State University at San Bernardino (B.B.A.), and Cerro Coso Community College ( A.S.).

April’s huge heart along with her areas of expertise were awesome in both number and range. April’s outstanding family and marriage along with her professional career and accomplishments of which she and her family were immensely proud will always be remembered fondly and she will be missed dearly.

April was laid to rest in the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Exeter Rhode Island
