Obituary for Bogdan K Ciorun
A loving father, devoted husband and caring friend, Bogdan K. Ciorun, 74, of Newport, Rhode Island, died unexpectedly at Rhode Island Hospital on December 14th, 2021. Born in Poland, March 24th, 1947, he was a cherished son of Joseph and Stanishlawa (Demkowickz) Ciorun. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Elizabeth Ciorun of Newport. His son, Joseph L. Ciorun and his wife MayAnn of Melbourne Australia. He is also survived by his sister Danuta Matkowska of Poland and one grandchild, Isabella.
Bogdan was a wonderful husband and father; he was hardworking and dedicated to all that he did. He was a man who knew how to appreciate life and live it to it’s fullest. He loved everyone and was loved by everyone in return. He loved to have parties, to travel and cook. He was also an avid Patriots fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching the game with friends and family. An excellent cook, he loved to experiment with different recipes, he was handsome, kind and very funny. He was a communicant of St Mary’s Church of Newport and attended mass regularly.
