Obituary for Brenda Joyce Vielman

A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Brenda Joyce Vielman, 66, of West Warwick, passed away on August 1st, 2023, at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Providence on December 12th, 1956, a cherished daughter of the late Charles W. and Beverly (Green) Allen.

She leaves behind her devoted children, Donna Cornicelli and her husband Stephen of Warwick; Trista Torres of Providence; Kristy Peterson of New York; and Jorge Borrayo of Cranston. She is also survived by her siblings, Charles H. Allen and his wife Kathy, and John Lariviere, all of West Warwick; Nancy Appolonia of Cranston; and Shirley Lariviere of Coventry. Also mourning her passing are five beautiful grandsons, three beautiful granddaughters, three great grandsons, and one great-granddaughter along with many relatives and friends by whom she will be sorely missed but fondly remembered, and most especially her best friend, Carl Graham, with whom she shared many wonderful years. Brenda was predeceased by her daughter, Beverly Jo Seymour.

Despite many health issues, nothing stopped Brenda; she absolutely loved life, living it to the fullest! She was fun-loving, outgoing, and enjoyed going out and having a great time! She loved her grandchildren and would do anything she could for them as they meant the world to her! She treasured any and all time being around family and friends.

She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, watching the game show network, and playing a variety of games on her phone and tablet. She would sometimes get into her wheelchair then get on the bus and just go! She also enjoyed dining out, listening to Karaoke with her dear Carl, watching brother Chucky sing, and a little gambling.

Most of all, she will be remembered and revered as a very strong, one-of-a-kind woman who always loved to help and would do anything for anyone! May she rest in eternal peace!

Services for Brenda, to which family and friends are respectfully invited to attend, will be held in the Berarducci Funeral Home, 26 Grove Street (corner of Knight Street) in Providence on Saturday, August 5th, from 4-6 p.m.
