Obituary for Carissa Chatlien (Caitlin)

A beloved mother, daughter and friend, Carissa Chatlien, 38, passed away unexpectedly on December
14th. She was a beloved daughter of Amber Newberry and her spouse Darry Eastep of Texas. She is
survived by her only son, Airam Solis and one brother, David Gadberry of MO. She is also survived by her
dear aunt Katherine Curtis along with Eugene Flores, her Papa Gino and many relatives and friends by whom she will be sorely missed.

Carissa was young, vibrant and beautiful, she loved life, loved her son, her friends and her family. She
was very smart and creative. An artist at heart she was always creating, building and making things. She
was kindhearted and generous, there many instances of her giving whatever she had to help others out.
She was known by those who loved her as strong willed and very loyal to those she loved. Carissa was a
passionate woman who loved all types of music, loved to cook, especially pork chops and twice baked
potatoes. She had a huge heart and loved her family and friends dearly and she loved all animals. Gone
too soon but never forgotten. She has returned home to the lord; may she rest in peace until we meet
again.

Services for Carissa will be private
