Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Carol Davis, 58, of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly on October 23rd, 2021. She was a much-loved daughter of Edward Collins Sr., and Roberta Bush. She is survived by her two devoted children: Jamie Davis of Bristol, and Marisa Jo Cole of Newport. Carol is also survived by her five siblings; two brothers, Ed Collins of Greenwood Lake, NY, Leonard Burst of Naples, FL, three sisters, Donna Driscoll, Irene ,Geiswite, both of Sunbury, PA, and Josephine Sample of Maryville, TN. Carol is also survived by her five lovely grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends by whom she will be eternally missed.

Carol was a beautiful, smart, and sensitive woman. She was creative, and fun loving with a beautiful smile along with personality to match. A proud mother and grandmother who will be remembered for being organized, fastidious, loving, generous and the most thoughtful person we knew. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey on December 22, 1962, she was raised in a large loving family. Carol went to Bangor high school in Bangor, PA. She later had a successful career in the mortgage industry in Florida before moving to Newport to be closer to family. Her final jobs in hospitality touched many lives and hearts along the way before her life was cut too short.

A loving human being, cherishing her time with her children and especially her grandchildren, Carol will be missed dearly. May she rest in the arms of the angels until we meet again.
