Clarice Perkins, 52, of Cranston passed unexpectedly, June 22nd, 2019. Born in Chicago Illinois, she was a daughter of Sarah (Brown) Perkins and the late Clarence Taylor. She is survived by her devoted son, Michael Thurmon of Worcester, and four loving daughters, Michelle Spano of Cranston, Kiwana Brown of Chicago, Maureen Thurmon of Cranston and Renee Perkins of Utah. Clarice is also survived by six siblings; three brothers, Matthew Perkins, D' Andrew Perkins and Derek (Blue) Perkins all of Chicago and three sisters, Diane Marshall, Genese Ordeola and Erie Perkins also of Chicago. Clarice is also survived by her grandmother Erie Mills Smith along with her eleven adoring grandchildren and many friends and relatives by whom she will be sorely missed.

Clarice was a fun loving person who adored her grandchildren and family. She loved spending time together with her kids and grandchildren and always felt that life was for appreciating and being happy which is why she loved family gatherings, such as holidays and basically any occasion to be together. She never took life too seriously and always maintained an upbeat and positive outlook regardless of the situation. She loved food but not cooking, Clarice was known for two things in particular: She was a woman who always kept her promises and for being late. She often arrived to choruses of "You'll be late for your own funeral" from friends and relatives. She was the light of our lives and will be missed dearly,

Services for Clarice, to which friends and family are respectfully invited to attend will be held, July 1st, in the Berarducci Funeral Home at 26 Grove St., Providence from 9 to 11 am with burial in North Burial Ground Cemetery, North Main St., Providence immediately following.
