Our beloved father, Daniel R. Allen, passed away on December 9th, 2022, at Hospice Palliative Care in Providence. He was a son of the late Donald V. and Olive Allen. A complete obituary will be published upon completion. He was predeceased by his late wife Deborah Allen and is survived by his companion Deborah Massey. Daniel is also survived by his children, Tracy and Jessie Allen both of Pawtucket, Kimberly Pelewura of Brocton MA and Daniel Allen Jr., of Barrington. He is survived by one sister, Donna White and one brother, Eugene Allen both of Maine. He is also survived by his precious grandchildren, Amie Njie and Trachen Johnston and many nieces and nephews including his dear nephew, Eugene Allen. He was predeceased by his brother Donald Wayne Allen and his stepbrother Larry Laythe.

Born October 30th, 1957, to Donald V. and Olive I (Lathe) Allen he was raised in a warm and loving home. A man's man who truly loved nature, he loved to hike, hunt and fish. He led an interesting and quiet life, he kept to himself mostly. He like to sit at the local McDonald's and talk to other seniors. He loved spending time with his children when he could, he loved to go out to eat. In his younger days he was a passionate cross country truck driver and used to have a roadside stand where he sold flowers.
