Diane M. Jackvony , 69 years old died on January 17, 2015.at the Oakland Grove Nursing Home with family and friends at her side. She was the wife of the late Louis Jackvony III who died in 2012.Born in Providence, RI on September 16, 1945, the daughter of the late Peter and Stella (Tora) Corona. Diane is survived by her son Peter Jackvony, of Woonsocket, and Daughter Lynne Melo and her husband Daniel, of Cranston, her Grandchildren Gianna and Anthony Melo. Diane was the sister of the late Raymond Corona and Elaine McNanna of Milford, MA and many extended family members and friends.
Diane loved to sew, knit and cross stitch. She was an artist and made many lovely gifts for family and friends. She loved to play Trivial Pursuit and could always answer the pink card question on the, Entertainment Category. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 24. 2015. At 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 463 Benefit Street, Providence, Rhode Island.
