Obituary for Dianne Quinn

DIANNE DeMEO QUINN

Following a long and courageous battle with metastatic breast Cancer, Dianne Quinn passed peacefully from the arms of her loyal and loving daughter into the eternal embrace of her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 8, 2021 in the comfort of her Cranston home. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles L. Quinn, Sr. who passed in 2000.

Born in Providence on November 23, 1948, to Salvatore and Margaret (Conlon) DeMeo, and was raised in a traditional ‘Italo-American’ home together with her five siblings.

A proud alumna of Mt. Pleasant High School and Rhode Island College, Dianne enjoyed her time spent caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant having been employed by Kelley Services, Inc., Briarcliff Manor, and several appreciative clients for whom she privately cared.

Noted for her deep Catholic faith, wonderful sense of humor, and love of music, she was always ‘the life of the party’. Dianne was a loyal friend to many throughout the years, to whom she would give her last dollar. She enjoyed karaoke (anytime, anyplace) and card playing with friends and family. An animal lover, her beloved dog, Fritz, who predeceased her, was revered and irreplaceable. Her unwavering religious convictions and life-long devotion to God were a constant source of solace and strength for her and an inspiration to those who mourn her passing.

Survivors include her dear daughter, Christine L. (DeAngelis) Marfeo (husband Edward) and their children Natalia and Narianna of Cranston; her son, Frank T. DeAngelis, Jr., of Riverside, and his children, Victoria and Rachel of Wakefield; her sister, Beverly (husband, Wayne) Stinde in Florida; her brothers, Lawrence of North Providence and Salvatore (wife, Joan) DeMeo in Maine; her Smith family cousins including Gloria McDonald of Warwick; and several nephews and nieces, including Lisa Moore of Coventry with whom she shared special bond. She was the former wife of Frank T. DeAngelis, Sr. She was predeceased by her sisters, Margaret DeMeo and Sally (DeMeo) Moore, and her former husband, Charles Fusco.

Private Committal Services will be held at Highland Memorial Park in Johnston. Arrangements entrusted to the Berarducci Home, Providence.
