Obituary for Frederick Benjamin Hoyt

Frederick Benjamin Hoyt, III

Following a decades-long struggle with his health, a dear son, brother, father, and friend is gone too soon. Frederick Hoyt, 40, of Woonsocket, passed away unexpectedly at the home of his sister at Christmastime, 2020.
Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of Cheryl (Bailey) Hoyt of Woonsocket and the late Frederick B. Hoyt, Jr.

Frederick faced and overcame many challenges throughout his lifetime, yet he never let them define him. Rather, he developed many admirable life skills which, when coupled with his inspiring and ever-evident resilience and determination, now become his legacy.

An industrious, hardworking, and dependable individual, Freddy was the epitome of a good employee. He worked tirelessly and independently as a trusted crew leader throughout the country for LIQUIDATOR$ INVENTORY EXCHANGE, LLC. He worked countless hours in order to achieve project deadlines.

Freddy also worked for Ed’s Tree & Landscape Service where he developed close bonds and friendships with his co-workers and colleagues, especially Ed and Jack. He was so enamored with the tree service profession that just recently, together with his current employer and long-time mentor, John, they had begun the establishment of what would have become his own firm. Final plans were being made at the time of his death. An engaging and very well-liked man, Freddy will be fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Besides his mother, Freddy leaves his son, Frederick B. Hoyt, III, of Woonsocket; his sisters, Cheryl (husband Wayne) Chapman of Blackstone, MA, and Jennifer Hoyt of Woonsocket; and his brothers Christopher and Jeffery, both of Woonsocket. He will also be sorely missed by his supportive and loyal friends, Woonsocket businessmen, Oscar Hancock and John Sherwood, whose true friendship during difficult times is sincerely appreciated.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Berarducci Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, 185 Spring Street, Woonsocket.

Services for Frederick are private. Condolences may be left at [ProvidenceCremation.com]. Memorial donations directly to the family would be appreciated.
