Gabrielle ""Gaby"" (Landry) Jordan, 84, of East St, died Friday, February 2, 2018, with her loving family by her side after a long struggle in her battle with leukemia. She was the wife of the late Bernell ""Lefty"" Jordan, married in 1955 at St. Theresa's Church in Blackstone, MA. and daughter of the late Theodore and Germaine (Dalpe) Landry.

She is survived by her two sons, Bruce Jordan and his wife, Anne of Woonsocket, RI and Gary Jordan of Albion, RI; three grandchildren, Theodore Jordan and his wife, Erin, Heather Bailey and the late Richard Bailey, three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Russell and Grant; her siblings, Lucille (Landry) Ortner and Robert Landry of Sarasota, Florida, Pauline Landry and Muriel (Landry) Murray of Woonsocket, RI; her godchild, Yvette Gabrielle Remillard; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Gaby was born during the Great Depression and raised on Auclair St. amidst the ""Dalpe family homestead"". She attended St. Louis and St. Charles grammar schools and St. Clare's High School in Woonsocket, RI and Presentation of Mary Boarding School in Coaticook, P.Q. She worked at several textile mills in the Box Pond area of Bellingham, MA until her marriage in 1955.Gaby was manager of the school lunch kitchen program for the State of Rhode Island in Cumberland and No. Smithfield until her retirement.During her retirement years, she was an avid cross country skier, hiker, bicyclist, tennis player, pickle ball player, clogger and dancer in RI and Ft. Myers, Florida.

Gaby was well known for her sewing and designing skills. She was the devoted caregiver of her parents and many family members. She has an extraordinary knack for unconventional problem solving and maintenance of her home and property. Many often sought Gaby as the ""go to"" person for advice. She has touched so many lives and will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to offer their condolences to the family for which a receiving line will be present at 11:30 am on Saturday, February 10th, in the vestibule of All Saints Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon in All Saints Church, 323 Rathbun St, Woonsocket, RI. The family requests no flowers be sent. Donations in Gaby's memory may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI, 02904.
