Obituary for Gail Kathlene Ashline (Taylor)

Woonsocket- Gail Kathlene Ashline, 72, passed away on July 15th, 2018. She was born in Woonsocket, August 22,1945, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Catherine V. (McBride) Taylor. She is survived by her children Lisa Vilord and her husband Dave of Morrisville, Vermont; William Ashline of Hyde Park, Vermont; Hope Wagner and her husband James of Fenton of Missouri; four grandchildren; Danielle, Kayla, Alex, Ashley and four great grandchildren Julia, Riley, Brantley and Adeline. Gail was predeceased by her three brothers, Thomas Taylor; William Taylor and Richard Taylor.

Gail had been employed by Shaws super markets for many years until her retirement. In her earlier years she enjoyed traveling to Ireland to visit and learn about her heritage, (Erin go Bragh). she spent many hours working on her families genealogy and Family tree.

She was a talented crochet and knitter. the things she made were works of art that will be cherished always. she loved horse racing and at one time was part owner with her good friend Smitty of a race horse, unfortunatley the horse was never able to race due to an injury.

She was an avid New England Patriot's fan until the end,(Go Pats!!). she spent almost every morning at Debbies breakfast place with people she considered good friends.

There will be no funeral as were her wishes. our wish is that she be remembered with fond memories and not be forgotten, as she was a smart, feisty, and wonderful lady that maybe in a small way left her mark in the world.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
