Obituary for Gloria Rubendunst

Following a long and productive 89 years of living and a recent period of declining health, our dear mother, aunt, and friend, Gloria (Grandchamp) Rubendunst, passed peacefully on April 7, 2022, at Overlook Nursing Home in Pascoag. She was the beloved mother of David Rubendunst of Foster, and Kurt Rubendunst of New York. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Joslyn Rose Rubendunst along with one great granddaughter. She leaves behind her Grandchamp nephews Garth, Mark, and Brett. She was a cherished daughter of the late Joseph & Olive (Burnside) Grandchamp. Gloria was predeceased by her brother, USAF Ret. Col. Robert J. Grandchamp.

Gloria was a proud graduate of Nelson W. Aldrich High School and later the formidable Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. She was an avid reader and life-long learner. A recognized horse lover, she was committed to the 4H Club and mission and served as a leader in that organization for many years.

A resident of Foster, RI since 1963, Gloria was a decades-long, trusted, and dedicated secretary/bookkeeper for the E. B. Tiffany Printing Company from which she retired. She thoroughly enjoyed the contentment of her Foster home and the love of family and friends.

Services for Gloria are private. At her request.
