Obituary for Jamie Tessier Heredia

In a word, ‘absolutely’ best describes our dear Jamie who passed peacefully from the loving arms of her family into the eternal embrace of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the Hope Hospice Center in Providence, RI. After a brave and courageous battle with that absolutely horrible disease, Cancer, her absolutely-too-short life here with us here came to an end at the age of only 36. Her passing has absolutely torn a hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Born September 23, 1983, to parents Donna Peloquin and Normand Tessier, and recently married to her loving wife, Maritza Heredia of Woonsocket, she leaves her beloved children, Daniel, Nicholas, and Ariana, and step-children, Angela and Tiara; her dear brothers, Jason Tessier of Woonsocket, Normand, Matthew, Dillan, and Anthony, all of Lewiston, Maine; her Uncles, Richard and Gary Peloquin; her cousins, Alicia and Crystal; and many friends in many places. Absolutely beautiful, inside and out, Jamie devoted herself to her children and family. She absolutely cherished spending quality time with all her loved ones. She also absolutely loved cooking, and was especially proud of her prime ribs, roasted to perfection and absolutely delicious. She also enjoyed summer days at the beach. Faithful and faith filled, Jamie was a trademark Christian, praying daily and worshipping regularly. She found solace, peace, and inspiration in her Bible study sessions with Pastors Erik and Mayra Martin.

Visitation and services will take place on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00. at the Berarducci Home, 185 Spring Street, Woonsocket. Due to requirements of strict compliance, and out of an abundance of caution to keep family, staff, and visitors safe, the RI Governor’s Phase Two Re-Opening directives will absolutely be followed. In accordance therewith, absolutely no more than 15 persons will be allowed in the building at any one time. The cooperation of all attending will be required and appreciated.

Memorial contributions to her family would be greatly appreciated.
