John L. Cafaro Sr., of Providence passed away, unexpectedly, at home, on November 30th. John was the son of the late Augustino and Marie (Calabro) Cafaro. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Higham) Cafaro and his devoted son John L. Cafaro Jr., He is also survived by one brother Robert A. Cafaro Sr., and his wife Lorraine Cafaro.

John was a hard worker and a family man. He was a sports enthusiast and loved his World Series Champion's the Boston Red Sox, his 5 time Super-Bowl Champion New England Patriots, he loved watching Hockey, PawSox and PBruins with his son John Jr.,. He was an automotive expert and loved everything about cars, working on cars, going to car shows to watch his brother Robert win so many trophies for his Harley or watching NASCAR races iwth his brother and son. He loved spending time with his family most of all and enjoyed just being home most of the time and watching his favorite television shows with his best friend, his German Shepard Sadie.

A mass of Christian Burial, to which family and friends are invited to attend will be held Wednesday morning at 10am in Holy Cross Church Hartford Ave., Providence, burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8pm in the Berarducci Funeral Home at 26 Grove St Providence.
