John V. Germano 84, of Providence died peacefully at Rhode Island Hospital on November 26th 2016. Born in 1932 John was a son of the late John Vieira and Rose Germano. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn (Palumbo) Germano, he was also survived by his devoted son John Germano Jr. and his five loving daughters Evelyn Pagliaro, Patricia Zugg, Deborah Germano, Kathy Spargue and Rose Germano. John is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren by whom he will be sorely missed.

John served his country honorably during the Korean war; He was a maintenance engineer for the City of Providence until he retired.

Burial will be in the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery and will be private.
