Obituary for Joseph Louis Turchetta

Joseph Louis Turchetta, 37, of Cranston passed away unexpectedly March 1st, 2019. Born in Providence he was a devoted son of Robin Courtemanche and the late Joseph L, Turchetta Sr. He is survived by his brother Nicholas Burns and sister Ashley Turchetta along with his beloved nieces and nephews Robert (RJ) DeLorenzo-Turchetta, Lillianna DeLorenzo-Turchetta and Raymond DeLorenzo-Turchetta whom he adored. He also leaves behind a paternal grandmother Phyllis Turchetta and aunt Susan Turchetta along with many aunts uncles and cousins from the Phillips family.

Joseph was a gregarious personality that lit up every room he walked into. He was the laughter and the music in our family's heart and home. He was a consummate performer, performing in plays and musicals since High School. As a student, he became a member of Youth Pride and remained a member for over 15 years. As a female impersonator, he performed at the Odeum Theater, The Pawtucket City Players, he was also a Disc Jockey for many years.

Services for Joseph to which friends and family are respectfully invited to attend will be held in St. George's Maronite Church, 1493 Cranston St. ,Friday 03/15/19 at 10:00 am with a collation gathering immediately following at the VFW Post 7 Haven St., Cranston.
