Obituary for Judith Bruneault

Judith (Caron) Bruneault, 77, recently of Millville and formerly of Woonsocket, passed peacefully on Friday, May 3rd, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Edmund Bruneault who died in 1970. Born in Woonsocket to the late Arthur and Alice (Boulris) Caron, Judith was educated in Woonsocket Public Schools, worked in various capacities in area textile mills, and later devoted her life to house work and home making, both of which she did with great pride, dedication, and love. She enjoyed challenging cross word puzzles, aimless drives and driving in general, visits with friends of which she had many, anything ‘Elvis’, the color purple, and collectible pigs and piglets. A true nature lover, Judith had a special appreciation for birds and most local wildlife.

Above all else, Judith loved her family who now morn her passing, including her devoted son, Eric Bruneault (and his fiancée, Cheryl Fleming) of Millville; her caring daughter, Kathleen Albanese of Woonsocket; and her dear grandchildren, Zachary, Angela, and Teela, with whom she shared a special bond. She is also survived by a brother, Robert Caron, of Newport, a sister, Linda Rondeau, of Woonsocket, a step-son, Michael Bruneault in Florida, and many friends. She was preceded in death by another brother and sister, Thomas and Lois Caron.

Memorial services for Judith to which relatives and friends are cordially invited are scheduled for Saturday, May 11th, at the Berarducci Home, 185 Spring Street, Woonsocket, beginning with visitation from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. In honor of Judith and her passion for purple, all attending are encouraged to wear something purple.

Also, Judith’s final wish was to be laid to rest next to her late husband, so in lieu of flowers and memorial donations, the family respectfully requests contributions be made to the “GoFundMe” account established for that purpose.
