Obituary for Kara Lynn Nascimento

Kara Lynn Nascimento, 43, of Woonsocket passed away March 24th 2019. She was the beloved daughter of Lynn Papi Nilson and the late Philip (Buddy) Alger. She is survived by her three loving children, Morgan Horne, Brady Nascimento and Sean Rochette ll. Kara is also survived by one sister Stacy Palazini and one brother Sean Alger and his wife Nicole along with many relatives by whom she will be sorely missed.

Kara was a caring mom and an avid Red Sox fan, she had a heart of gold and a sense of humor that could make anyone smile on their darkest days. On darker days, we will think of your spirit and smile knowing that this is not goodbye. God relieved your pains, our pains, and he brought you home to comfort and rest. We will miss you dearly, but you will live on through all of us in the meantime, and we will always remember all of the good inside of you. The memories. Goodnight Moon, the Red Sox, and Shamrocks. We will always cherish all the life lessons we had with you as your children. You expected nothing less than greatness for us. You always let us know we were one of the most special parts of your life and for that, we cannot thank and love you enough.

You always lived life with a smile even at the times when life wasn’t worth smiling about. I loved you more than I ever had the chance to tell you. Your bath & body works lavender perfume will always remind me of the hugs we shared. When I look in the mirror at this mess of curls I’ll forever resemble you. God has made a home for you where you no longer have to suffer. That’s all I’ve ever wanted. You never failed to let me know how much you wanted the best for me. I love you, mom. Always and forever.

Services for Kara, to which friends and family are respectfully invited to attend, will be held in the Berarducci Funeral Home 26 Grove St., Providence, Monday, April 1st 2019 from 5-7pm. Burial will be private
