Obituary for Karen Sayles

Our beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend has left us too soon, Karen (Albino) Sayles. 58, of Cranston, passed away, unexpectedly, at home. She was the beloved daughter of Joanne (Chadronet) and the late Ronald Albino. She is survived by her devoted son Jason Sayles. Karen was a dear sister to Kimberly (Albino) Norcini, and loving aunt to William and Erica Norcini and Georgia and Fred Albino. Karen was recently predeceased by her brother Sgt., Major Ronald Albino of Ohio. She also leaves behind by her cat, Oreo, along with many friends and relatives by whom she will be sorely missed. She was the former wife of Robert Sayles.

Karen was a beautiful, intelligent and hardworking woman. She was kind, funny and had a great personality. She excelled in education and after high school continued on to college and was a proud graduate of Johnson & Wales University. Always hardworking and in service of her others, she also became a proud member of the RI National Guard and the Providence Police Department.

Karen worked hard and when she relaxed she loved mostly to be at home with her family and friends conversing about the day's events or just being together. When at home, she enjoyed her favorite reality TV shows with a good pizza and her precious cat Oreo. She most of all, loved, time spent with family - especially with her Mom!

A Mass of Christian burial, to which family and friends are invited to attend, will be held in Holy Ghost Church, Atwells Ave., Providence, Tuesday, February 23rd at 10:30 am. Please wear face coverings, social distancing will be observed.
