Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Laura M Welch, 71 of Woonsocket passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Hope Hospice Palliative Care Center in Providence, on March 28th, 2023. Born in Connecticut on September 28th, 1951, she was a cherished daughter of James and Emilie (Goodwin) Richards. She is survived by her devoted children, one son, Johnathan Adams and his spouse Jennifer of Danielson CT., two daughters, Julee Adams and her partner Ricky of Pascoag and Sarah DeVeau of Woonsocket. She is also survived by her eight loving grandchildren, Selena Adams, Lita Ramirez, Emma Adams, Evan Adams, Caleb OConnor, Ethan OConnor, Mason Tellier and Meilani Bianco all of whom she adored. Two brothers, Timothy Richards and Jim Richards of Mansfield CT and one sister, Kathy Gelinas of PA., along with many friends and relatives by whom she will be sorely missed.

Laura was a beautiful and devoted mother and grandmother; she was a homebody and loved being home with family and enjoying time together. She was raised Protestant and enjoyed going to mass in her younger years. She also enjoyed family holidays at her children’s homes, she loved shopping, challenging her mind with crossword puzzles and loved a good Sci-Fi movie, however she delighted in playing Bingo most. She hardly missed an opportunity to play Bingo where she could enjoy the fun and camaraderie of her friends and neighbors on those special nights. She was a kind and blessed soul, filled with love for her family and will be missed dearly.

Services for Laura have been entrusted to the Berarducci Funeral Home, 185 Spring St. Woonsocket and will be private.
