It is with a great sadness and sense of loss that her family announces the passing of their dear mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Our beloved mother, Lois Jean Wells, 71, of Providence, passed away on October 18th, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born July 8th, 1950, she was a cherished daughter of Ambrose and Helen (Phanstiehl) Sprague. Surviving her are her children, Keith (Sheri) Foster, Donna Foster (fiance, Jeremy Owens), Robert (Luci) Wells, and Melissa Wells (fiance, Curtis Bland); her grandchildren, Ashley, James, Crystal, Keith, Jr., Laci, Brianna, Dereaquan, Tatiana, Stephanie, Destiny, Elijah, Travys and the late Christopher Wells; her great-grandchildren, Cattleya, Maverick, Liam, Dariana, Rashem, Thomas, and Jaden; and her siblings, Lillian, Helen, Charlotte, Donna, Robert (Jane), and the late Richard and Beau Sprague. She will also be missed by her feathered friends, Pretty Girl and Pretty Boy.

Lois was always the life of any party, she was outrageously funny, joyful and joy filled. Adventurous, fun-loving, always laughing, sometimes annoying, seldom sad, and constantly loving, she truly loved life and all that it had to offer. She was an all 'round good woman who will be sorely missed.
