Lucille Williams-Sanford, 60, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly at Roger Williams Hospital on 02/26/2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn NY, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Adeline (Lopes) Williams. She is survived by her only daughter, Monica Williams and her spouse Wayne. She is also survived by her brother Gordon Williams Jr., of Providence and her four sisters Donna Williams of AZ, Crystal Fernandez and her spouse John of Providence, Paula Williams also of Providence and Monique Medeiros-Beltran and her spouse Francisco, of North Attleboro. Lucille is also survived by her two beautiful grandchildren along with many other friends and relatives by who she will be sorely missed.

Lucille was born in White Plains before moving to Rhode Island where she spent most of her life working and raising her family. She was a quiet yet vibrant woman who loved to laugh, play cards, especially Spades, she also loved to cook everything for her family. She was a kind and loving soul, she adored her two dogs, a Chihuahua and Bichon Frise named Rex and Princess.
