A blessed soul. Our dear mother, grandmother and friend, Margarita Rivera, 76. of Woonsocket passed away, unexpectedly, on February 7th, 2022 at LandMark Medical Center. Born in Puerto Rico on November, 22nd, 1945. She is survived by her children, Eduardo Cartegna of Woonsocket , Edwin Cartegna and Osvaldo Cartenga both of CT. She is also survived by her devoted granddaughter Zynette Cosne of Woonsocket. She was predeceased by one son Jose Cartegna and one daughter, DiMaris Cartegna.

Margarita was a hard working, loving mother and grandmother. She has a blessed soul and a beautiful smile that warmed any room. Born in Puerto Rico, she moved here many years ago and raised her family.
