Obituary for Mark Cristian
Mark Cristian, 67, of Woonsocket, passed peacefully on February 27th, 2021. He was a beloved son of the late Mircea A. and Magdalena (Vasadi) Cristea. He is survived by his loving and devoted spouse, Karen Cristian.
Mark was an adventurous, handsome, strong and intelligent man. He graduated (SUNY) the University of New York where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation Mark was employed by the State of Massachusetts for 22 plus years, where he worked as a Correctional Officer at the Walpole State Correctional facility. Mark was a computer programmer and troubleshooter, with his sharp intellect, he would spend hours working on computers, troubleshooting issues and sometimes just tinkering.
Mark was known as a “man’s man”, the kind of guy who loved the outdoors, he loved to go shooting, fish and hunt. He loved to go camping and spending time with nature.
