Obituary for Mark Joseph Duclos

Mark Joseph Duclos, age 54, of Cranston, RI, passed away unexpectedly, at home on April 22, 2019. Born September 19, 1964 in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Raymond and Cynthia (Cooper) Duclos. Mark is survived by his sisters Donna Helka, Susan Duclos, Rita Brown, and Lisa Gonsalves. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews, 31 great-nieces and nephews and one great-great niece, all of whom he loved, adored and cared for deeply. Mark was predeceased by his brother Raymond Duclos and sisters Dianne Bannigan, Sheila Craven, and great-niece, Nevaeh Duclos.

Mark was a very kind, caring and compassionate soul who loved his family immensely. He cherished spending time with his family, going to family gatherings, looking at old family photos, and was passionate about keeping the memory of deceased family members alive. Mark was very conscientious of his health and took the time to care for his body and soul, taking long walks and attending church daily. He enjoyed watching old movies, listening to music, and was an avid fan of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. His favorite foods were lasagna, pizza, and bacon cheeseburgers. Mark carried a fanny pack for so long that they went out of style and came back again. Mark will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. As Mark would always say; it’s not Good-bye, it’s so long.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, April 30th at 10 am in St Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston immediately following.
