MICHAEL LEO CARON JULY 1962 MAY 2016 MICHAEL L. CARON, 53, OF 18 LAKEVIEW DRIVE, GREENVILLE, DIED ON MAY 8, 2016, AT HIS HOME. BORN IN PROVIDENCE, HE WAS A SON OF THE LATE JOSEPH AND JACQUELINE (HODGSON) CARON. HE WAS A BROTHER OF: THE LATE JAMES CARON; THE LATE JOHN CARON AND THE LATE CAROL (CARON) URSILLO. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS NEICES: AMANDA BUCHER, OF GLENS FALLS, N.Y. AND MICHELLE POW, OF PROVIDENCE. HE IS BELOVED BY THE MORRISSEY FAMILY AND THE LONARDO FAMILY. HE SERVED, HONORABLY, IN THE UNITED STATES COAST GUARD. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING ENGINEERS, LOCAL 57. HE WAS A GRADUATE OF MOUNT PLEASANT HIGH SCHOOL, PROVIDENCE. HE LOVED STEAKS ON THE GRILL, WORKING ON HIS AUTOMOBILES, PLAYING HARMONICA TO HIS FAVORITE BILLY JOEL SONGS, AND SITTING ON THE FRONT PORCH WITH HIS BEST FRIEND, THE LATE EUGENE MORRISSEY. HIS FUNERAL SERVICE AND BURIAL WITH MILITARY HONORS WILL BE HELD AT THE R.I. VETERANS CEMETARY, EXETER, ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 20TH, AT 10:30AM.
