Obituary for Michael Costa

A beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Michael Jorge Costa, 39 of Cranston, formerly of Riverside
passed away unexpectedly. He was a dear son of Mario and Thelma (Medeiros) Costa of Riverside. Along with his parents he is survived by his two siblings, Kristen Costa of East Providence and Joshua Costa of Cumberland. He is also survived by his three beloved nieces and nephews.

Michael was a great guy, kind and loving, always there for his family and friends. He had a great
personality and loved his family whole-heartedly and was always there for all of us. He was a loving son, brother and a devoted uncle. His spirit was kind and giving. He loved the beach, dogs, especially his rescue dog Gigi who he would ride with every day. He was a Patriots fan and loved R & B and Hip-Hop. Mike was a line cook for a few local restaurants and worked construction when he could find work. While he had some struggles, he was doing well for a long time. He was a great guy with a heart of gold and will be missed dearly. Rest in peace dear Michael, until we meet again.

A service for Michael to which family and friends are respectfully invited to attend will be held in St. Francis Xavier Church, East Providence on Friday, April 21st at 10 am followed by a Candlelight Celebration of Life in Michael's honor at Sabin Point, Riverside by the water at 6 pm.
