Obituary for Nathan Hunt
OBITUARY FOR NATHAN J. HUNT
Nathan James (“Nate”) Hunt died tragically and unexpectedly at the much-too-young age of 22 on Saturday, October 10th, at his Woonsocket home. Born on October 1, 1998, he was a beloved son of Melissa Brown and Jesse Hunt; a dear brother to Brandon, Brihanna, and Erica Brown; and cherished grandson of Loraine Brown, all of Woonsocket. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Nate was a life-long and proud Woonsocket resident, educated in Woonsocket Public Schools from which he earned a GED, and was a former Cub Scout in Pack 6 and later an active Boy Scout with Troop 711, attending BSA RI Camp Yawgoog and earning many badges of honor and accomplishment. It was during this time that he developed a love of the outdoors, and especially camping.
For the past several seasons, Nate was a valued employee of RDL Landscaping. An avid and amazing landscape photographer, he also enjoyed a variety of music and opportunities for domestic travel, especially in the company of his close friends Kamron, Larry, and Richard. Any time spend with such friends was special and memorable.
Nathan’s non-confrontational, ‘always-there-to-help’ nature endeared him to many by whom he’ll be sorely missed but fondly remembered. An animal lover by nature, his care and affection will also be missed by his ‘fur-family’ including Buddy, the dog, and Boots and Tabby, the cats.
The Berarducci Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, 185 Spring Street, has been entrusted with the care and arrangements for Nate. VISITATION has been RE-SCHEDULED and will be held on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5th beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, cloth face and nose coverings will be required and no more than 15 persons will be allowed inside the building at any one time. Burial will be private at a later date.
