Our dear Mother, Phyllis Penna, 83, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on December, 17th, 2021. She was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Montonaro) Spinosa. She is survived by her children, Lynn Sullivan along with her husband Michael of Lakeville MA and David Taglilatela along with his wife Maryellen of New Hampshire. She is also survived by her beautiful and devoted grandchildren, Jeremiah and wife Lea, Jordan, Joshua and his wife Irene, James and his wife Shannen, Emily and her husband Ryan, Nicole, Joseph, Benjamin and his wife Denise, and Anthony. Her great-grandchildren, Daisy, Elijah, Abigail, Wesley, Mya, Nathan, Cecilia, Tyson, Lilliana and Christian. Phyllis was predeceased by one son, Barry Tagliatela.

Phyllis was born and raised in Somerville, MA, in a loving family of seven siblings, all of whom preceded her in death. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is the last of her family to be called home to the Lord. She was a very funny person, she had a great sense of humor and she loved to sing. She shared her enthusiasm for life with all of us and entertained constantly, always making us laugh and smile. She passed down her appreciation for music and laughter to the rest of us for which we will treasure. She was a hardworking woman who was widowed twice and retired after working 35 years for Raytheon.

She loved Jesus most of all and always looked forward to seeing Him.
