Robert Savoie Obituary

A loving and funny man, dear brother, father, and grandfather, and good friend is gone too soon. Following a brief period of declining health, Robert “Bobby” Savoie of Woonsocket passed peacefully into eternal rest on March 4th at Hope Hospice Center in Providence Rhode Island.

Born on Christmas Day, 1955, to the late Isabel (Johnson) and James Savoie, of Harrisville, Rhode Island, he was raised and educated here in Rhode Island together with his seven siblings, two of whom, Raymond and Elizabeth, have predeceased him.

Industrious and hard-working, Bobby enjoyed a career as a machine operator for ACS Industries in Woonsocket Rhode Island for over 30 years.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, delicious Sunday dinners, lengthy stories, and unwavering love for the New England Patriots.

Mourning his passing are his loving daughters, Tanya, Erin, and Katie Chabot and Jennifer Crotty; cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Brianna, Jacklynne, Christian, Catalina, Roberto, Alexia and Giselle; brothers, Francis, James, and Edward, all of Woonsocket; sisters, Carolyn Lavoie of North Smithfield, and Linda Silva of Woonsocket; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his life partner, Maureen Crotty.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Berarducci Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, 185 Spring Street, Woonsocket. Condolences may be left at [ProvidenceCremation.com].
