Gone too soon, Roger Daly, 41. Of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly. He was a son of Roger DeMello and Angela Daly of Newport. He is survived by his spouse, Jessica Hancock and their son Ethan Daly, both of Fall River. Roger is also survived by his grandmother, Irene Daly of Newport, three sisters, Misty Kuiee and her husband Victor of Newport, Victoria Gaspar and her husband John of Charleston MA, and Marion Daly of Providence. He is also survived by his brother Sean Daly of Newport along with his nieces, Savannah, Alita, Teagan and his nephews, Lucian, Loukas, Johnny, Elliot, Henry and Sean Jr. along with many aunts, uncles, friends and relatives by whom he will be sorely missed.

A kind man and a gentle soul, caring and charismatic, family was the most important thing in Roger’s life. An off shore lobsterman, the ocean was like his second home. Roger loved the ocean and the only thing he loved more was hanging out with the kids, playing cards and fishing together.
