Ruth E. Tabora, 84, of Providence, died January 9th, surrounded by her loving family. She was a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Clark) Howland. She was a devoted wife to the late Dionisio Tabora Sr. She was predeceased by her son Danny and is survived by her children Cheryl, John, George, Rita and Dino. Ruth is survived by her brother John and was predeceased by her sisters the late, Belle, Shirley, Mary and Robin. Ruth is also survived by many friends and relatives by whom she will be sorely missed.

Ruth was a vibrant and loving soul. She was always active and full of life right up until her last days. She loved to play Bingo and cards, especially Gin Rummy with her children and friends. Sometimes Ruth would insist games go up to one thousand points! She loved the activities with her friends at the local community center and those in her apartment who were friends and neighbors. She was a great mom and had a wonderful personality and sense of humor.
