Susan J. Evans, 73, of Providence, passed away at Rhode Island Hospital, April 6th, 2020. She was a daughter of the late Elmer and Irene (Desgrange) Taylor. She was a devoted wife to the late Robert Lee Evans and loving mother to their three children, David Evans, Renee Pitre and Dana Evans, all of Providence. Susan is survived by her brother Thomas Taylor and his wife Lisa, of Rumford and her sister, Donna Meunier of Warwick. She is also survived by her eight beautiful grandchildren, 5 beautiful great-grandchildren and two loving nieces, along with many other family and friends by whom she will be sorely missed.

A lifelong resident of Providence, Susan was a funny and outgoing person whom everyone affectionately called "Ma". She was a hardworking and caring person who worked as a CNA for many years for Briarcliff Nursing Home, Morgan Health Center and others before retiring. Susan loved taking the kids to Rocky Point, she had a passion for owls and BINGO, but was a homebody at heart and was most comfortable, at home with her family, watching reality TV, her favorite cooking shows or doing her puzzles. She was the center of our lives and will be sorely missed and never forgotten.

Services for Susan will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Exeter, at a later date.
