Obituary for Thomas Patrick Seymour

Thomas “Tommy” Seymour was born on January 5, 1963, to the late Leo F. and Patricia Seymour and was predeceased by his only brother, Leo, in 1995. His faithful feline companion of 15 + years named Shadow, whom he dearly loved, also predeceased him. Raised in Warwick, RI, Tommy was a proud graduate of Toll Gate High
School, Class of 1981, earned an associate degree from CCRI in Liberal Arts, and a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Rhode Island in 1989. He later worked for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and
mentored high school students at the Met School in Providence. He then went on to pursue a degree in Law, which was his dream to achieve.

Tommy enjoyed living at Cathedral Square, and later at Independence House, in Providence where he built many friendships.  Tommy was passionate about many things in his life: his country, his faith, the New England Patriots, disability law, but most importantly his friends and family. He has several close friends throughout the United States who were considered family! His presence was a positive light wherever he went and throughout his lifetime, despite the challenges he faced; a real ‘social butterfly’, he sought and saw only the best in everyone! Known, respected, and admired for his intellect and his great sense of humor, he had a warm smile and calming demeanor; he’ll be sorely missed but fondly remembered for all these traits. He is survived by his beloved Aunt, Stella Cooch Demouth, and many cousins.

Services are respectfully private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Berarducci Home & Cremation Care Center in Providence.
