OBITUARY - THONG KETNOUVONG
April 10,1946 ~ November 7, 2023
Thong Ketnouvong of Woonsocket, RI, died peacefully on November 7th in the company of her loving daughter, Saysamone, who was by her side. Born on April 10, 1946, in Khon Kean, Thailand, Thong was married for 59 years to Bounleane Ketnouvong and together they had five children, ten grandchildren, and five great- grandchildren.
Thong and her husband immigrated to the United States in 1978, seeking a better life for their young family. Thong was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker who thoroughly enjoyed life's simple things; shopping and visiting friends were among her favorite pastimes. She was a generous and kind woman that would give anyone her last dollar. She is now at peace with her husband and two sons, Bounxay and Bounalom Ketnouvong, who predeceased her.
Thong's beautiful life will be celebrated & honored with memorial events for family and friends to take place this weekend, as follows:
