Viola M  Kilkenny
VIola (DeCesare) Kilkenny 95 of Elmhurst Extended Care, Providence RI, passed peacefully October 26th. She was the daughter of John and Maria DeCesare. Born May 11,1920 in Providence, Wife of the late James Kikenney. They lived in Providence. Later, Wake Robin in Lincoln for 24 years before she moved to Elmhurst in 2005.

The loving and dedicated staff and friendly residents at Elmhurst became her extended family. They made her years there truly golden. Viola initiated the weekly rosary group at Elmhurst. She participated in all the social activities including bus trips to malls,casinos and restaurants.

Viola was predeceased by three sisters Celestine DeCesare, Erminia Everett and Emma Suzzi and her brother, Michael DeCesare. She also leaves three generations of nieces, nephews, close friends and loved ones. Viola made everyday special through prayer,giving to others and enjoying life to the fullest. Holidays were spent with family and her presence will be dearly missed.

Viola's family ask that in lieu of flowers to kindly demonstrate a random act of kindness in Viola's name.

A mass of Christian Burial to which friends and relatives are invited to attend will be held at St. Ambrose Church, Main St., Lincoln, RI on November 4th 2015 at 10am with visiting hours at 8:45 at the Berarducci Funeral Home 185 Spring St Woonsocket RI
