Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Yilmaz Dogan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

plaing cards for a decade

April 17, 2015
I am one of a group of six friends who would get together just about every Friday night and often Saturday nights to to play cards and drink and laugh be friends and have a good time. Nine times out of ten, we met at Yilmaz's house, at the kitchen table, playing cards (a game we called "skat," $3 a hand) through the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes, Amelia would wake up and come downstairs to see us when she was real young, what a boozey bunch we were!

Denise and Yilmaz were most gracious hosts for well more than 10 years of this. Yilmaz was a good man, he was never shy and always said what he thought about things, had a terrific sense of humor and he could be bolder than brass. Remember at the Broad Street apartment with Paul D., how Yilmaz would answer the door sometimes!!! He was a good carpenter, and helped me and Jim and his mom with home repairs more than once.
We will all miss him, I hope he and Jim are together somewhere, Denise Perreault
