The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Stella Corrieri can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Mom

My Mom was born on April 1st, 1929. Being an "April Fools" baby gave us many laughs at Mom's expense. Mom was one on 6 children of Alfred and Stella Godin. She was the oldest of the 4 girls but she truly loved her two sisters Phyllis and Shirley. Mom and Dad had two children, myself and my dear brother "Ronnie" who passed away on 5/3/09. She also had an amazing son in law, my husband Russ who put up with so much but after awhile Mom got to love more than me! Mom loved being the center of attraction and nothing made her happier than a good fight or a great off color joke. Mom and I had the usual Mom and daughter squabbles but our love was always there and I couldn't do enough for her. Mom loved kids with a passion and has 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. For the last 5 years of her life she was a resident of Trinity Health and Rehab. Because of her Parkinsons and Dementia, Mom was a resident of the third floor. We couldn't have asked for a better floor or better care. The nurses(especially Christine) were not only THE BEST, they extended that love and compassion to me as well. The CNA's....(Cat, Nikki, Linda, Lucy, Amanda...too many to name you all but you know who you are)  gave Mom all the  attention, love and care she needed when I could't always be there everyday. They'd curl her hair and of course put on her makeup....Mom was a very proud lady. Of course there are also the med techs(Josette aka CC) and the love of her life Eric. They were her "extended" family and now mine...I love you all and will never let you out of my life.  My Mom couldn't have been in a better place. Trinity is lucky to have such an amazing group of nurses, aides, and med techs.....I couldn't have made it without you. Arrangements are being made and will be posted in the Woonsocket Call soon. My heart is forever broken and I will miss her until we meet again...I love you Mom....you were strong until the end....Chris
