The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Winifred Mastrofine can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Mother, my friend

My mother was the best mother she knew how to be. Her mother, my grandmother succumbed to cancer at the age of 42, so she never really had a normal role model to go by. My mom took care of her mom until her death. Mom has always been a caregiver, so it wasn't unusual that she would make her children her number one priority. She always made sure our needs were met. It was fun growing up with 7 siblings, there was always something to do. Mom always welcomed our friends in the house, we always had a houseful. I went to bed every night knowing I was loved. Mom sacrificed so much to raise us right, and I think she did a good job with the little support she had. Thank you Mom, I will forever miss your friendship, unconditional love and support, but moistly your friendship. I know that I cannot pick up the phone to call you anymore or see you but you will forever be in my memories buried deep into my heart. Your youngest daughter, Susan (Suzie)
