Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Zita McCabe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Ireland

The "Two Zitas" arrived in Ireland just after 9/11, actually they were flying between Boston and London as all the events were happenning, little did they know that this day would change the World. They didnt hear anything untill they arrived in London. A few days later I met with them in Galway City, they were on a Coach Tour of Ireland and when the tour was over I picked them up in Cavan Town which is 10 miles from where Zitas Grandmother lived before she and all her family emigrated  to America. The name of the place is called Coolkill and it's close to the village of Kilnaleck, in Co Cavan.

We had a great time and we shared loads and loads of stories and laughs. It was a beautiful September evening and all the cows came to investigate, one of the Zitas found a horse shoe buried in the grass. The homested is long gone but the remanants of the walls and piers are still there.

Over the next few days we travelled to different parts of the Country and we met with relatives and friends, we had a great time and the Zitas will always be in our memories for years and years to come.

God Bless.
